iOS 6 firmware IPSW for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch (Direct links)

iOS 6 is finally here. Apple has just released iOS 6 to the masses and you can get it one of two ways: either connect your iOS device to your computer and check iTunes for the big update or you can get it via OTA (over the air) update. If you have iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch 4G, 5G, iPad 2 or the new iPad, you can check out Apple’s iOS 6 right now.

OTA update can be accessed from Settings > General > Software Update and check for the update. For the other option, you’ll need the latest iTunes which can be download from Apple’s official site.

Apple is said to bring over 200 new features including Facebook integration, updated Siri, new Passbook app, improved notification system, Panorama camera mode and many more.

As informed earlier today, jailbreakers should stay away from iOS 6 as you’ll lose your jailbreak. iOS 6 tethered jailbreak for A4 devices will be released later tonight but for A5 devices (iPhone 5, iPhone 4S and the new iPad), you won’t get your jailbreak before months.

If you’re on jailbreak and want to give iOS 6 a try, you can save your SSH blobs and upgrade so that you can downgrade back to iOS 5 again whenever you need the jailbreak.

You can download your iOS 6 IPSW firmware from one of the links below (will be uploaded shortly):
