iPhone 5 launch in India delayed !!

                               Apple iPhone 5 launch in India has been delayed by a week to November 2. Ingram Micro announced that it will offer the Apple iPhone 5 at leading trade stores and retail outlets across India beginning on Friday, November 2.Apple partners have officially announced that the iPhone 5 will be released in the country on November 2, 2012 at an unconfirmed price of Rs 45,000 for 16GB.


                              We expected the launch on 28th of October but it has been delayed.Apple  till now doesn’t own an exclusive store in India, thanks to the unfavourable regulatory requirements and high cost of distribution. However, to generate sales in the growing market, Apple followed a different sales strategy and entered the shores via Indian retailers including Reliance and others

                          There is also a race in the market between different telecom companies regarding who is going to launch nano sim cards.All major companies including Airtel,Vodafone are busy testing their Nano SIM cards for the iPhone 5 as reported by telecomtalk.

Let's see how successful will apple be with their new marketing strategy and moreover what business can apple take from india !!
